Re: how to get free yoga classes?
Fri, February 22, 2008 - 9:47 PMI know of a few yoga Palaces in Los Angeles that have Community classes that are usually half price. They are usually during standard work hours but I hurray them for it and there are free classes in the parks where the provider does not have to pay for a brick and mortar establishment. I am working and it is a pleasure to be able to pay the fees that are necessary to provide me with places for enlightenment. I love you all for all the good teaching and insight you have given me. -

Re: how to get free yoga classes?
Tue, February 26, 2008 - 8:43 AMYeah Yoga House in Pasadena, CA offers some half-priced sessions, but I'm sure most studios do that too. A lot of instructors tend to hold their own sessions at parks and neighborhood centers for free but usually take donations.

Tue, March 4, 2008 - 9:59 AMOmPass,
Maybe you can help me, when I searched Studios in my area, nothing, absolutely nothing came up for free and the rates that I saw were the rates that those studios regularly charge. Is there a discounted area, or free area that I should be looking at? -

Re: how to get free yoga classes?
Sat, March 29, 2008 - 6:08 AMLe - Check around, there might be studios in LA with seva programs too. Of course, while free classes can be fun to check out to get a taste of a certain teacher or studio's style, it's not nearly the same as having a regular teacher who you know and who knows you and your body. That's well worth paying for and investing in. Whether it's via cash or investing energy and time at the studio where they work.
