Hey there! I'm new to the Bay Area, and new to tribe. Along with my move, I'm trying to make some positive changes in my life, including increasing my knowledge and practice of yoga. I've been doing yoga off and on for a few years, and am looking for a good website to remind me of all those poses I used to know...I know it's best to learn any new poses from someone experienced (and I plan too!) but this seemed like a good way to get started back up again.
Any suggestions?

Mon, May 26, 2008 - 1:54 PMYou may find www.yogajournal.com useful until you find a teacher or centre you like - they've got a pretty good descriptions and photos of poses, they talk about contraindications and how to build a sequence. Enjoy :-) -

Re: Good Yoga Sites?
Thu, June 5, 2008 - 12:30 PMTry www.BandhaYoga.com. It's a great site for really "seeing" the anatomy with all the poses and it's based on the Ray Long books, Key Poses of Hatha Yoga Vol I and II.
