Any Child DVD Suggestions?

I have found yoga to really help reorganize my life and to leave me with a focused mind which really helps me destress and be productive. My friend has expressed interests to me and she is even worse than I was with being disorganized and feeling over burdened. She is a single mother with a 2 year old and I understand what little time she has she wants to spend with her child. My question is, are there any DVDs that she and her babe can do together that is both fun for the child but helpful for my friend? I am looking to get her this as a gift so any suggestions would be greatly appreciate. Thank you.

there are some dvds for kids called Yoga Kids. they are specifically for kids though. ive checked them out from the local library here for my two year old. but they are also on amazon, id check there for those and other similar items.

it might also just be helpful for her child to have their own mat, blanket, whatever to be on and do what ever while mom does her own thing. in a quiet space. the child can join in when they want and learn to enjoy a few quiet moments. children love to imitate.

Oh most definitely; Lexi imitates everyone. That is why I think her daughter shouldn't really be an excuse but an inspiration. I have considered loaning her a normal DVD and just seeing if Lexi jumps in. I might actually do that and see if it would be of any use. I would hate to give a gift that never gets used. Once a month sure, but if it is wasted I would feel bad.

I am sure the library near my friend does not have the yoga kids DVD, but I checked them out on youtube and those would rock Lexi's world. I bet what I could do to prevent wasting a gift (I am 3 months ahead of schedule in this search) is have her do an ILL and see if Lexi cares for them. Also, then my friend could check out some different styles so I can get a more accurate gift.

      Good thinking. Thanks!

my library here doesnt actually have them either. but you can put in requests for the titles and they get transfered from other areas. most stuff for me personally i reserve there so when we go to get daughter lillys books i just pick them up, since like most toddlers shes wont let me search for my stuff.
my daughter lilly loves to pull out my yoga mat randomly. she pulls it into the living room and rolls on it, sits on,lays on, and will do downward dog. so cute. kids get really into it when you do something physically different in front of them. hope it works out for them.
