Re: rodney yee
Fri, November 28, 2008 - 3:31 PMRodney teaches in Oakland, CA on an irregular basis at the school he originally co-founded. These classes aren't really marketed. It's sort of a word of mouth affair as to when he teaches - though if you do decide to go - get there early so you can find a spot to lie down your mat.

Re: rodney yee
Fri, November 28, 2008 - 5:01 PMI started out with that one a cpl years ago, and went on to get my teacher's cert (altho I do not really teach much). I like his pacing, explanations, and his form is easy to follow the way they film him. -

I feel that he is an excellent teacher. I still go there once in a while. I would always recomend him.

Re: rodney yee
Fri, February 27, 2009 - 3:59 AMI own a couple of his dvd's, and used to love his gentle style.
I'd also recommend his book Moving Toward Balance, which is an eight week programme to deepen your (home) practice and has lots of nice series in it from which you can pick and choose. Same soothing style: www.amazon.com/Moving-Tow.../ref=sr_1_3
I practically worn out mine.
