I've been really enjoying mixing visualization and self-hypnosis with my Hatha Yoga asanas! The visualization side, I use to see the entire routine before I do it, as well as see a deepening of the position. And the self-hypnosis side, to project the state I want to be in before, during and after asanas. Is anyone else using visualization and self-hypnosis with their Hatha Yoga sessions?

Fri, January 16, 2009 - 9:11 PMRunning through the vinyasa beforehand is something you have to do if ever you are teaching a yoga class.
But sometimes motivation can ocur from a higher source --- if you can open to it... and let it flow without having to have a fixed lesson plan. Something like putting yourself into the hands of a higher power spirit guide to move things along. -
